The President of FOW World, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George has revealed
that making World Trade Summit & Expo a global affair is driven by
the vision to make made in Nigeria products global brands.
Hon.
Buchi George who stated this in Abuja, while speaking to newsmen, said
the event has been upgraded to a programmes with the upcoming ones just
the Asia Edition.
He further stated that while the series of events lined up will
expose investors to business opportunities in other countries, it will
also help in making made in Nigeria products, global brands.
“What
we will be having in China, Korea and Japan are just the Asia edition
of the project and we are looking forward to other continents.
We
want to make made in Nigeria products, global brands; we want to make
the world see more opportunities in Nigeria and in turn boost our
economy.
We don’t just want people from other countries to see
what they can sell here, but what they can produce here and sell in
other countries”, he said.
He further revealed that about one
thousand people have already registered for the event which will be
kicking off in Seoul, South Korea from 1st - 3rd October, 2017, while
the next stop will be in Beijing, China from 5th - 8th October, 2017
and then Tokyo, Japan from 11th - 13th October, 2017.
More
participants are expected, according the United Nations Ambassador, and
the registration is being done on the official website of the project,
